POWERLINE FA SERIES COMBINATION FOLDER/ CROSSFOLDER FA 33, FA 33-F & FA 33-D The FA-Folder in combination with the STACKER is a solution for folding and stacking all kinds of flatwork with high production and high folding quality. In single-lane sheets can be fully automatically folded up to two lateral folds combined with three cross folds. Small pieces can be folded up to two lateral folds in four-lanes. The lateral folds are accomplished by air jets between the rollers. The first, second and third cross folds are made by knife. The cross fold section is built according to a compact modular system so that the stacker can be placed either on the right or left side and can be reversed on site. Full bypass capability to convey items through the system without folding. Delivery table is attached to the folder. Folder sheets are delivered on to delivery belts. Speed is adjustable to ironer’ s speed. Input conveyor matches to any ironer. The folder has a microprocessor PLC-system control with a control panel to program up to 100 programs. The microprocessor has programs to test inputs and outputs, to control overlaps, stacking height, speed, fault tracking and production counters, all in single and multi-lane according to an operator’ s need. Photocells are used to detect sheet sizes. Emergency stop buttons are located to the front and rear of the ironer. This will give managers, engineers and operators detailed information about production figures, rejects, downtime, errors, warnings and other statistic data. Most data can be analyzed in a self chosen time span. Up to 100 controls can be connected to one M.I.S.
